ProcessFor the 2 projects you see to the right, they were classified under the painting challenge! They were 20,000 points each, and the steps to the process were time consuming. 1. I had to find a picture to base my painting off of...something that I was passionate about. 2. I had to take that idea and draw it on painting paper. 3. I outlined my drawing in Sharpie. 4. I painted my drawing with colors that matched my room, and once it was dry, I re-outlined the drawings with Sharpie. Creating the finishing product! From this project, I have learned many new things. For example: taking someone else's idea and putting your own twist on it to create something that represents you! I have also learned to start in pencil because if you mess up you can just erase what you don't like. By doing this project, many of my art skills have improved. I have learned how to mix colors when painting and making colors that look good next to each other. For example: putting a lighter pink next to a darker pink! ReflectionThese paintings have reminded me of my love of music, but further more, my joy in life! From these pieces of artwork, I was trying to get the message across that music flows from the heart, and joy comes from music! These pieces of artwork inspired me but also reminded me that when I play my piano, I need to play from the heart! My mom always tells me that I am so full joy when I play the piano, and that passes on to others as well! |

These are really good! Your painting and drawing skills are really good. I think that it is cool that you can start by doing one thing, but then going to something completely different. The details that you have in the background makes the art in the middle pop out more. These are really cool. Great Job!
